Stephanie hurried into her sixth period class, horse anatomy. Luckily, only half the class was there. She sat down on her desk in the back of the class and took out her book called: The Ultimate Encyclopedia of Horse Breeds and Horse Care. She spotted on the black board that there would be a quiz on horse anatomy today, so Stephanie flipped her book open to page 247.
Someone sat down in the seat next to her's.

Tammy slipped as inconspicuously as possible into her class, late. She glanced at the board and saw that she had a quiz. She nearly groaned out loud as she dug her book out of her bag. Glancing to the seat next door, Tammy gave the girl next to her a sheepish grin.

"I don't like quizzes either," Stephanie said, shaking her head. "I'm Stephanie." She held out her free hand for the girl to shake.

Tammy grinned. "Ditto," she said, reaching her hand out and shaking Stephanie's. "I'm Tammy," she introduced herself. "At least Horse Anatomy is one of the good classes," she said to Stephanie. "It's not as dreadful as math."

Tammy laughed. "Same," she said. She shook her head. "Nah, can't afford one yet. I'm looking at buying one soon though," she said. She smiled at Stephanie. "Do you? I'm thinking of starting up lessons soon...have you been to the riding school?" she asked.

"I'm planning on adopting a horse from the Rescue Center. Her name's All The Bling, but I'm going to call her Belle. She's a four-year-old Hanoverian," Stephanie said, smiling at Tammy. "I take lessons at Sliver Grove, and I'm going to board Belle there."

Tammy smiled. "Awesome!" she said. She smiled at the mention of a sweet lesson horse. "Sounds like a cutie," she said. "Then again, I think all horses are cuties," she laughed. "So, do you ride Nevvy?" she asked Stephanie.

"Yeah, he was the first horse I rode there," Stephanie said, smiling at Tammy. "He's a real sweetheart, and I really want to keep riding him until I get Belle to trust me."

"Aww, cool," Tammy said. "I'm having my first lesson there in a couple of days," she said. She hoped that she would get to ride a good horse. She hadn't ridden for a couple of months.

"Well, I don't know if you can do this or not, but Autumn Leaf is probably the second-best horse there," Stephanie said, trying to memorize how man ribs a normal horse and an Arabian had. "I've already entered him in a few shows, because I'm not showing Belle for a few years."
