The owner of the rescue barn walked out "course we can but she's a bit of a hand full she was treated very badly," they said putting a reserve note on All The Bling's door.

"I wonder what your name should be . . ." Stephanie murmured. The mare's ears flicked in her direction for a moment, then she pinned them back again.

Stephanie watched the beautiful mare snort and shake her head and her gracefully arched neck. "Ginger? No, that doesn't match you. What about Blitz? Ugh, definitely not," Stephanie muttered. The mare watched her with warily, ears pricked and nostrils flaring. "Belle. Yeah . . . Belle would be perfect! It means beautiful in French . . . Hey there, Belle."

Belle snorted and trotted over to the corner of her stall. "It's alright, girl," Stephanie said softly, smiling at the scared mare. "You can trust me, Belle, I won't ever hurt you."

Stephanie watched her walk away, then she sighed. "Well, I gotta go, Belle," she said gently to the mare. Belle snorted and pinned her ears back. "See you later, girl." She walked out of the Rescue Center.
