Lacie returned with his tack "Can you tack up?" She asked placing the saddle on Nevvy's door and handing Stephanie his bridel

"Yes ma'am," Stephanie said, nodding. She took the bridle and slipped the bit into Nevvy's mouth, then placed the rest over his face. She placed the saddle pad on his back, then put the saddle on top of it. She buckled the girth and fixed the stirrups.

Nevvy flicked his ears in Lacie's direction and started walking. Stephanie stayed close to his left side, with a firm hold on his reins.
