Tammy walked into the rescue centre, humming. She'd found the perfect horse. He'd need some work done with him, but Tammy was sure she could gain his trust. "I was wondering if I could maybe reserve this horse until I can afford to buy him?" Tammy asked.

Stephanie walked into the Rescue Center, just to go visit All The Bling (Belle), because she couldn't bring her home yet. "Hey, Tammy, what are you doing here?" she asked, walking over to her.

The owner walked over to Tammy "Umm, yeah sure, We've had loads of bussiness over the last few days!" She put a reserve sign on Secret Charro's door.

"So you want to adopt Secret Charro?" Stephanie asked, smiling at Tammy. "That's cool!"

Tammy grinned as she saw Stephanie. "Hi!" she said to her. She smiled to the owner. "Awesome, thanks!" she said. She looked in at the pretty black gelding and smiled. She turned back to Stephanie. "Yeah, he looks like he needs someone to love him," she said. She reached a hand out to the nervous gelding but he flattened his ears and backed away. "It's okay, gorgeous," she crooned to him.

"I'm adopting Belle over there," Stephanie said, pointing to the chestnut Hanoverian. Belle pinned her ears back and snorted when Stephanie looked at her. "She's going to be a handful, I can see that now!"

Tammy looked over to the mare and smiled. "She's gorgeous!" she said to Stephanie. She laughed when Belle pinned her ears. "She just needs some lovin'," Tammy said. She looked at the horse she'd eventually be buying and saw the same reaction from him. "I think all the horses here do," she said quietly.

Tammy figured the owner was talking to Stephanie, so she looked back in at Secret Charro. He held his head high and stared defiantly at her, his ears pinned flat against his skull. "Hey, handsome boy," Tammy crooned to him with a smile. The corners of the gelding's mouth crinkled in a horsey version of a snarl. Tammy bit her lip, trying not to laugh so she didn't startle him. "What's a good name for you, gorgeous?" she asked quietly. Her eyes drank in every detail of the jet black thoroughbred. He stood square, his neck arched and his head held proudly. "You look like a king, don't ya boy?" Tammy said to him. The gelding dropped his head and lifted it again, as if he agreed. "Or maybe a Prince?" Tammy said. Secret Charro pawed at the ground, snaking out his neck to warn her away. "Okay, okay," she said, giving him some more room. "Prince it is, coz you're too rebel to be a king," she said with a smile.

Tammy looked up to the owner, startled. "Oh, sorry," she said with a little laugh. "I didn't realise you were talking to me." She thought about it for a little while. "Well, I have to buy some things for him first, and save up. I also need to find out if I can board him at Silver Grove. But it should be fairly soon, I think," she said with a smile. She glanced back to the antsy gelding and smiled, thinking the sooner the better for her to take him home and start training him.

"I'll let you know as soon as I can pick him up," she said, smiling. "How much is the adoption fee?" she asked. She hoped that soon she'd have enough money to pay for her lessons, some tack and supplies for Prince, and be able to adopt her horse.

Tammy smiled. "Thanks," she said. Thinking about it, she figured she should be able to get him in a couple of days time. She told that to the owner with a happy smile.
